A potential issue with artificial turf is the build-up of static electricity. This occurs when two surfaces interact and at least one resists electrical current. Static charge tends to build up more in extreme cold or heat, or when humidity is low sometimes resulting in a small electric shock when you touch a charged surface.
While complete elimination of static electricity isn’t possible, research has shown that it can be significantly reduced. By limiting the intensity, any sensation from a static discharge becomes barely noticeable.
At Signature Turf, we’ve integrated antistatic technology directly into the grass blades. This innovation helps prevent static build-up, so you can enjoy your artificial turf comfortably and safely in all conditions.
